Description
Saturday 27th April
Each term we like to make one sweet recipe and with St Georges Day being only a few days sooner it gives us the perfect excuse to make a classic and traditional English trifle. We’ll be making our own madeira cake and custard to help build the best flavours for all of those delicious layers. Not only is this an incredibly tasty recipe its a great chance to learn great baking essential skills that can be used in so many other recipes.
Saturday 18th May
This month we are going Japanese with a chicken katsu curry, its a favourite Saturday night recipe in our house. Our cooks are always keen to recreate recipes that they enjoy in some of their favourite chain restaurants so we’re confident that they are going to love this.
Saturday 15th June
By popular demand we are going to make pasta, this simple yet gorgeous recipe is a perfect introduction to pasta making, its hand rolled so no need for fancy gadgets making it easy for our cooks to make again at home. We’ll be topping it with a homemade creamy mushroom and garlic sauce.
Saturday 13th July
Summer is here and picnic season is upon us, it’s becoming a tradition to finish this term with a picnic recipe. This time we will be making Scotch eggs, using quality ingredients these are going to be more tasty than anything you can buy in a supermarket. We’ll make a jar of summer chutney, perfect for dipping your eggs in.
