Cookery Club – Horsford Primary School – Tuesday

We are really excited to be bringing our popular after school cookery clubs to Horsford Primary School (Mill Lane)

Each week are young chefs can look forward to making a delicious recipe from scratch ready to bring home and share. We alternate between sweet and savoury recipes because I love teaching savoury recipes but there is no escaping how much children love to make cakes and deserts! Our varied recipes are carefully planned to encourage our chefs to explore new foods and flavours, to learn about seasonal ingredients and celebrate national days too.

Our chefs are all given a personalised recipe folder to collect their recipes in every week as we really want to encourage our chefs to cook at home too. New for this half term will be our achievement stickers to recognise all of the new skills they are learning or improving on.

Our first half term will be a 7 week term starting on Tuesday 10th September – Tuesday 22nd October, the class runs from 3.25-4.45pm, the cost is £9 per week payable half termly in advance. When you book your young chefs place the balance will show as £0, payment will need to be made via BACS to the account details below, the total due is £63. Places are only secured once payment has been received.

Please include your email address on the booking form. Each week you will receive an email of the recipe and the learning objectives for the week as we love for you to feel included in what we are doing so that we can encourage the food adventure beyond the the weekly class. Your young chef will be given a recipe folder one their first week so that they can collect all of their recipes too.

Please send along an apron and a container to take the food home in each week.

*** Young chefs joining us from the Holt Road site will need to be dropped off at the Mill Lane site by a parent/carer in time for cookery club to start at 3.25.***
