Creative Cooks Summer Term with Membership – Mornings

Our Creative Cooks have lots of great recipes to look forward to this term with a mixture of Great British classics and favourites from around the world. Here are the term dates and what they’ll be making
Saturday 27th April
We like to make one sweet recipe each term and as it’s close to St Georges Day we thought it was a great excuse to make a British classic, a traditional trifle. Our Creative Cooks will make every aspect of this from the sponge, to the custard and the jelly. Not only will they come home with a tasty desert that everyone will love but it will teach a great range of good basic cookery skills
Saturday 18th May
This month we are making a vegetable Katsu curry, similar to that from a well known restaurant chain! It is always really popular when we cook recipes that our members are used to eating in restaurants so we’re confident that this will hit the spot!
Saturday 15th June
We’re going all Italian this month, our Creative Cooks will be making fresh pasta with a traditional tomato sauce. We will be making pasta without the gadgets so that the cooks will learn how easy it is to make again at home.
Saturday 13th July
It’s our last session of the term and hopefully we have a lovely summer ahead full of picnics. With that in mind, we will be making baked Scotch eggs and a dipping chutney, perfect for any picnic or packed lunch.
Everything for the sessions is included, we ask our members to bring along their aprons each month and a suitable container to take everything home in.
