Creative Cooks Winter Term and Annual Membership Fee – Morning

This winter term, our Creative Cooks can look forward to making tasty recipes that celebrate national days and seasonal ingredients with a mixture of sweet and savoury recipes that everyone will love. Here is what we have lined up;
Saturday 12th January
We’re starting the term with a winter Cobb salad, Budda Bowl packed with seasonal ingredients. This bowl of yumminess is not only tasty but super healthy too. This is quite a different dish, it may get our cooks trying new ingredients and hopefully they’ll want to make it again!
Saturday 9th February
With Shrove Tuesday only a couple of days away it has to be pancakes this month. We’re going to make savoury pancakes, stuffed with ham, spinach and cheese. These will be made to bring home but there will also be lemons and sugar so that everyone can have a snack on a sweet pancake too. The greatest part of this recipe is that they will be experts at making pancakes for the whole family on Tuesday!
Saturday 16th March
Its veggie month and national pie week so we’re bringing both together and making my most favourite vegetable pie. This short crust pastry pie is layered with colourful veggies and feta, it looks amazing as you cut into it and tastes just as good as it looks!
At Cookies Kitchen we are doing our best to reduce our use of single use plastic, we ask everyone to bring along suitable containers to take the recipes home in. A Tupperware box is usually perfect.
